4:00 pm - Check in

Things to note:

  1. Be sure to let me know about the music, particularly if there are songs you don’t like that are on the list.

  2. Be sure to complete intention practice here.

  3. If you’d like you can gather poetry, readings, or anything that you would like to read out loud before the medicine.

  4. Gather any meaningful items that you would like to place on an alter nearby. You can use a tray or a large plate as the alter.

  5. I’ll read these and we can discuss further, but it’s also good to sit with them beforehand

    • The fear we experience in the onset of a psychedelic is like that on a rollercoaster. It’s objectively frightening to be thrown about at high speeds, but ultimately we are completely safe. We can relax.

    • Fear becomes a problem when we resist it. Just like on a roller coaster it helps to express: verbally and physically

    • What we resist persists

    • Pain x resistance = suffering

    • When you see something scary, approach it as a part: what do you want me to know? What do you need?

    • Not all your trauma has content (specific memories, thoughts, feelings). Sometimes it’s just physical, and it has to be moved through (the body keeps the score).

    • Reach out, I’m here.

  6. Items for your space that day:

    • Mat to lay on if you prefer the floor (a couch or bed will work as well — your comfort is the most important thing)

    • Sheets and blankets (have an extra blanket nearby just in case you start to feel really cold)

    • An eye mask

    • A glass for water (I’ll handle and refill as necessary)

  1. Live Coaching: Integration Session #1 - October 7th, 9:00 am Eastern

  2. Live Coaching: Integration Session #2 - October 14th, 9:00 am Eastern
